so. we're in north carolina! and we love it. our new apartment is 2.5 times the size of our old place (literally) and we really didn't know what to do with the space when we first moved in. but thanks to craigslist, ikea, and the arrival of our truck of stuff, we've been able to fill everything up. my mom has been asking us to post pictures, and since it was her birthday yesterday, i figured we should oblige. sorry it's been so long since i posted--we've been somewhat busy!
this is our bedroom: slightly larger than our old room, which only fit the bed and dresser.
our living room, which is also huge compared to our other apartment:
our little library corner--one of our favorite things about this apartment.
part of our kitchen. it goes on farther to the right past the wall, but i wanted to get in our new kitchen table, which we really love.
there's also a second bedroom (which is basically empty, so there's no point in showing a picture) and two bathrooms. we feel a bit sheepish to be living in such a nice place, but it really wasn't our fault. we asked for the smallest floorplan they offer and they gave us the largest, for the same price, so we are dealing with it, haha.
we like north carolina though. a lot. and our anniversary is on sunday! whohoo!
