more pictures from our journey

day 1: vernal, utah, and denver, colorado.

day 2: the world's largest ball of twine--a lifelong dream of mine--in cawker city, kansas, and liberty jail.

day 3: kansas city, missouri (the location of the world's largest shuttlecocks), far west, adam-ondi-ahman, and st. louis (where the wonderful shumways took us, naturally, to ted drewes for the world-famous ice cream we so love there).

day 4: the mark twain caves in hannibal, missouri, and carthage jail.

day 5: nauvoo.

and day 6 was just driving straight from indianapolis to durham. so no interesting pictures.

seriously--it. was. the. BEST. we may have been converted to becoming a roadtrip family in the future. i can't wait to do more!

hahaha..seriously LOVED this post; I feel inspired by Vernal (and the dinosaurs therein) uplifted (so much TWINE. ok, and church history), and positively giddy with happiness that you two ate THE BEST--THE BEST custard ever. oooh, it is a glorious life to live, yes? Especially when one's road takes one to blessed North Carolina. Glad you and tommy made it safely. Happy Anniversary yo!
