i have mixed feelings about this semester.
on the one hand, teaching is really super freaking awesome. i love it because it's a totally new challenge. i enjoy planning for class and trying to figure out what things i need to teach them (it's like a puzzle to match everything up right). i think i'm going to like my students. my classes even seem like they're going to be interesting. i don't even hate getting up at 6:30 and driving into school at 7:30--it's actually really nice.
on the other hand, i'm still in school. i'm still figuring out the stress of balancing this semester's classes. i'm still working all day saturday to get stuff done for monday and staying up late to look up articles. i know i'm going to have papers to write and papers to grade all at the same time.
you see my dilemma. I WANT TO BE DONE. not that i know what i'll do when i'm done, but man, the freedom! oh, i'm looking forward to it.
