she wake me up daily [don't need no starbucks]

i want to blog but i have nothing really interesting to write about. or maybe i have too much?

things i am excited for right now:
-ward trunk or treat on friday (and seeing all our lovely sunbeams dressed up)
-thanksgiving with mi familia coming to visit us! woop woop!
-having one semester down and only three more to go
-going to utah over christmas: seeing tommy's family, meeting leif and joel (our identical twin baby nephews), going to melissa's wedding, seeing my grandparents, visiting cougar friends, and hopefully (for tommy) skiing.
-going to california over new years: seeing my family, going to my home ward, new years with myres cousins (especially a newly returned elder b. myres), and hopefully (for me) having a bonfire on the beach.

wouldn't you be so excited too? we're going to get to go skiing and walking along the beach in the same christmas break. don't be too jealous.

in other news, tommy and i are planning to watch gone with the wind this week. did you know it's 4 hours long? i had no idea. i borrowed it from the durham county library--my absolute favorite place because it has thousands of books on tape AND excellent movies. so far we've watched emma, sense and sensibility, hello dolly, and anne of green gables. and now that i look at that list i feel bad for poor tommy having to sit through all those totally awful girl movies. don't tell him i told you that he's now seen hello dolly.

also, the nc state fair was last weekend! i'll put up more pics later but just look at this one and be jealous that you didn't have any fried oreos last week.

and on another note, anyone who can tell me where the quote in my post title comes from wins a fantastic prize (cathy and devin are barred from participating).

RATS! they beat meee. katie murph took me to the jb concert (because i was too old and fat so he'd never fall in love with me) and it was the greatest 3 hours of my life. I'm sad you're not coming up north any time soon!

I laughed so hard when I saw your title. Devin suggested being him for Halloween, but I told him that you HAVE to have the long swoopy hair. Maybe if he starts growing it out now, it will be perfect for next year! And then I guess that leaves me to be Ludacris...hmm...
