one fine day: saturday in salt lake

i SHOULD be studying for my icelandic 101 test right now, but since i don't want to, i thought i would really quickly update this blog and tell about the perfectly wonderful weekend we had.

this is what we did on saturday:
-went to a session in the salt lake temple, which was amazing. it really was. there's so much happiness there. we got to see the sealing room where grandma and grandpa myres were sealed. unfortunately, we forgot our camera, so we had to make do with using tommy's cell phone to take a picture outside of the temple.



-watched the joseph smith movie (where i bawled my eyes out, of course)
-bought bagels at einstein bagels for lunch
-went and read on the grass at a park by the U of U for a few hours
-went to the U of U football game with tommy's family. we were probably the only people in the whole stadium NOT wearing red, and we were glad to escape without being questioned about where our true loyalties lay.
-celebrated tanner's and jolysa's birthdays at their joint birthday party in provo with dancing and funnel cakes.

it was a perfectly lovely day.
