The city of Frisco did a "touch a truck" event with some police cars, fire trucks, and city vehicles one summer morning at a park. The boys were thrilled.
They also had a robotics area where the kids could build their own robots with legos and do robot battles. Dane and Graham were thrilled to be on a team together. It was super cute.
Lucy just wandered around with her matching shoes and shirt and tried to run away from me the best she could. She is SUCH A CUTIE even when she is such a stinker.
We got a Pogo Pass this summer, which allows you to get into a number of things for free. That includes the Sci-Tech Museum in Frisco one morning, which immediately got overrun with 9000 daycare groups, but it was okay other than the crowds. The boys spent most of their time building things out of these blue building blocks.
We spent a fun Saturday at the Myres' house swimming in their backyard. Pretty sure that's my boys' happy place.
Look at these tough kids. I have no idea what they were doing but they sure thought they were tough.
Lucy was just obsessed with Ginger, their dog.
We had the lucky chance to have our good friends from BYU, Chris and Sarah Hawks, come stay with us for a night on their way up to Utah. They just camped here for a night and ate pizza and watched a movie with us. Our kids and theirs played, and I wish we could have just had more time with them.
Tommy and Chris enjoyed some Danish delicacies courtesy of Troy and Sarah, who were here too. They remembered some great mission stories.
All of our kids brushing their teeth in the bathroom at one time... so precious.
I took the kids to Urban Air to jump on the trampolines... they were so happy. Even Lucy lasted for an hour and a half. Thanks again to the Pogo Pass. (The Pogo Pass has really been a great thing for this summer, even though I only got it halfway through July. Any random morning when we didn't have anything to do, we were able to fill up with something fun. I wanted to make sure we did enough fun things for our last few weeks of summer.
Lucy was climbing just as much as the boys. Crazy kiddos.
